This exciting Maui Zip line tour will completely take your breath away. Not only in the scope of the course, but the forest surrounding are beautiful, peaceful and the upcountry charm of Makawao is so quaint and relaxing.
Let Piiholo Ranch take you on an unforgettable adventure ziplining through the tree tops, across the canyons and down the mountains slopes of the Piiholo Valley that will be the highlight of your Maui vacation.
Before you browse the course descriptions below please note the following:
The Take Off:
Piiholo Ranch has constructed a series of take off towers that rise 48' above the ground. Each tower is unique in design and entry. Some have flights of stairs you must walk up to reach the take off platform and others use an angled suspended bridge to add to the adventure. And then there's the Tango Tower which uses both stairs and the suspended bridge to reach the take off platforms. Every zipline at Piiholo Ranch is an adventure from ascending to the tower take off platform and the thrill of the zip.
The Landing:
The zipline landings for both courses are as unique as the course themselves. Far below at the end of the line, breaker boxes are set in place to reduce the landing speed. As you make contact with the breaker box, it slides back into a series of coiled springs which gently bring you to a stop. There are no hard landings on wooden platforms or being caught by a staff member. The landings are as soft as they come.
Piiholo Zipline Course Description:
This adventure begins by crossing a 317' Suspended Bridge to first Zipline.

Both 4 & 5 Line Course:
Line-1 = 480' this line allows for 4 side by side Zipliners and is the only quad zipline in Hawaii. The Zip begins from the top of a 48' medieval like tower that is accessed by climbing up stairs up to the take-off platform. This is the only zipline on the course that is relatively close to the ground.
Both 4 & 5 Line Course:
Line-2 = 1100'
This zipline adventure begins from another 48' tower with guests enjoying a tandem zipline experience from the take off platform. The climb up is on an angled suspended bridge, which provides a unique entrance for this incredibly fast zipline. The highest point off the ground is about 200' as you zip across a canyon with breathtaking views as you zip along!
Both 4 & 5 Line Course:
Line-3 = 690'
Line 3 also begins from a 48' tower. The access to the X-Tower is by an angled suspended bridge. The take off platform for line-3 affords 2 Zipliners at a time. As you zip across a 125' deep canyon enjoy the views of the lush forest area as you land in the Tree House.
Tree House:
The Tree House is an excellent place to take photos of members of your group that are zipping across the canyon. Spacious with a forest canopy, the Tree House is a great place to rest for a moment, catch your breath, and enjoy your surrounding. Beverage and dry snacks are provided during your break.
The Tango Tower Course Split:
4 - Line Course Only:
Line-4 = 725' The last line on this course is as exciting and different as each zipline adventure offered by Piiholo Ranch. Line-4 takes off from the Tango Tower. To gain access to the take off platform you must walk up 1 set of stairs, 1 angled suspended bridge and 1 suspended bridge that wind their way around, through and over to the Tower. The tower height is 48' above ground. Line 4 has multiple lines, so 3 people can go at once. As you zip across a 150' deep canyon the scenery is very lush as you descend into the landing platform built into the side of a cliff.
5 - Line Course Only:
Line-4 = 1420'
This is the second longest zipline on the course with the adventure beginning from the Tango Tower, with the take off platform 48' above ground. To reach the platform you must walk up 1 set of stairs and an angled suspended bridge. You will zip across back across the deep canyon you just came from, but in a more open space environment. The views are awesome.
5 - Line Course Only:
Line-5 = 2800'
This is the last and longest line on the course. After being shuttled to the top of a small mountain, the 5th zipline is like a grand finale of a firework show. You can barely see the end of the zipline it’s so far away. Awesome views with an exciting zip over a half mile in length back to where you began the adventure.
