You must be in the weight range and above the age minimum set by Skyline to participate in this event. No exceptions! All Zipliners must weigh between 80 to 260 pounds. No exceptions! Expect to be weighed when you check in for this event. Being over or under weight is not grounds for a refund. All Zipliners must be of at least 10 years old. All hikers must be at least 6 years old for the Haleakala course. No exceptions! Attire For Both Maui Zipline Courses: Closed toed shoes are required. No exception! This means sneaker or hiking boots only. Basically anything else goes. Capri's for ladies are okay as are short pants for men. However we do suggest longer short pants about knee length. Short sleeves or tee shirts are fine. A light jacket is suggested for the ever changing weather conditions for the Haleakala course. Haleakala Zip Line Course: Absolutely a guaranteed adrenaline rush! Located up on the slopes of Haleakala this adventure is bold, daring and exciting. The Haleakala Maui Zipline canopy course includes 5 Ziplines, 1 suspended bridge and a half mile hike through the forests of Upcountry Maui in Kula. The tour begins with a hike to the first Maui Zipline over uneven terrain. As you progress further into the forests of beautiful upcountry Maui that provides the setting for your adventure of soaring through the tree tops across the canyons and rivers each Maui zipline gets longer and higher Bring a camera as the natural beauty of the Upcountry forests will provide an incredible photo memory of the course with waterfalls cascading beneath you and the sights of the jungle this Maui adventure. Ziplines Height and Length: The 1st line is 125' long and 25' above ground. The 2nd line is 165' long and 65' above ground. The 3rd line is 210' long and 75' above ground. The suspended bridge is 150' long and 70' above ground. The 4th line is 330' long and 110' above ground. The 5th line is 710' long and 125'above ground. Haleakala Course Tour Times: Current available times for the Haleakala course are as follows. There are only 12 seats available per tour time. 8.30am, 9.30am, 1030am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.15pm, 2.00pm, 3.00pm The Maui Haleakala Zipline course from start to finish is a couple of hours, depending on how fast the group moves along. Drive times for the Haleakala Zipline Course: Please use the following table as a driving guide. It would be a good idea to allow for traffic delays for this event. There are a lot of people sightseeing and most roads run next to the ocean. From Lahaina or Kaanapali allow at least 2 hours of drive time. From Kahana or Kapalua allow at least 2 1/2 hours of drive time. From Kihei, Wailea or Makena allow at least 90 minutes of drive time. Kahului Harbor (Cruise Ships) allow at least 60 minutes of drive time. The Kaanapali Zip Line Course: Nestled high above Kaanapali resort area tucked deep into the tropical valleys of Mount Kahalawai a one of a kind adventure awaits. This adventure begins at the Skyline Eco-Adventure store in Kaanapali at the Kaanapali Fairway Shops. After checking in for the tour your journey will take you off road high up the mountain side to the 1000 foot level above Lahaina. Once you reach the outpost your guides will brief you on the zipline course and outfit you in the harness. After a short ride further up the mountain you will arrive at the first zipline at the 1800 foot level. Your adventure begin here as you zip line over canyons rich in vegetation. The hiking between ziplines will take down some clearly defined uneven trails through Ohia and young Guava Trees with tall grass bending in the breeze. Ziplines Height and Length: The Maui Kaanapali Zipline course offers one of the longest and most exciting Zipline course in the State of Hawaii. This Maui Zipline course is the absolute bomb! The best bang for your buck for any Zipline course on Maui. There are 8 ziplines on the Kaanapali course and 1 viewing platform. The viewing platform is 1000' above the valley floor. The 1st line is 330' long and 75' above ground. Each line progresses long and higher until the 8th and last line. The 8th line is over 1000' and 225' above ground. Kaanapali Course Tour Times: Current available times for the Kaanapali Course are as follows. There are only 12 seats available per tour time. 7.00am, 8.00am, 9.00am, 10.00am, 11.00am, 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.00pm The Maui Kaanapali Zipline course from start to finish is 4 1/2 hours, depending on how fast the group moves along. Meals: The morning tours include a "Hawaiian Style" continental breakfast consisting of coconut croissants, a variety of fruit breads, fresh fruit platters and water. The midday tours include a hearty lunch consisting of a grilled chicken hoagie with roasted red peppers and provolone cheese. This yummy grilled sandwich is complemented with a full relish plate that includes all your favorites. Water is also provided. Please note that each guest is provided with a Skyline Eco-Adventures logo bottle filled with water. You can keep the bottle as a souvenir.
