Scuba Tips
Whether you are a beginner or the avid diver there are some thing to remember about Scuba Diving. Please do not schedule any event above 800' after diving for at least 24 hours after your dive. This includes flying, helicopters, driving to Haleakala or biking down Haleakala. If you are a beginner and this looks like fun please consider your physical health. The dive charter will have you fill out a health questionnaire and some of the following health problems will keep you from diving. They will not allow you to dive if you suffer from asthma, heart problems, and any lung disorder. The common cold or a hang over as well as any ear problems will keep you from diving. Expectant mothers should not consider scuba diving.
Certified divers should remember to bring your dive cards to Maui. It is a hassle to try and get a copy of your certification faxed to your resort from PADI or NAUI before your dive trip. We can do it, but it's hard to do. Please remember that all dive charters require your card for any 2-tank dive.
