This Hawaiian Beach Luau is located in the heart of Kaanapali. A great show with a flare for fire combines for outstanding blend of Hawaiian tradition and Polynesian culture. This is a very nice luau that is considered a Polynesian Review and includes everything you would expect from a luau on Kaanapali Beach. And of course sunsets are served nightly from your table. This luau features a fire knife dancer which everyone appears to love. Sometimes I wonder how he does this without burning himself up! This luau has a wonderful dinner complete with a children's buffet bar. This is the only luau that accommodates the children in this fashion. Part of the reason this luau is such a big family hit; besides the fact that children are free. The menu for the Luau is a little more extensive than other luaus as their salad bar is larger and they offer kalua turkey along with your main entree of roasted kalua pig. The children's menu consists of chicken tenders, mac and cheese, hot dogs, pizza and more. The dinner to say the least is very good.
This Hawaiian Beach Luau also has a Hawaiian Village set up in their luau grounds that lend a lot to what you're doing. The bar is open and all cocktails and beverages are included in the price. The show has won many awards and concludes with multiple fire dancers. This luau is nicely done and family friendly. A great choice for an evening of hula.
This Hawaiian Beach Luau normal schedule from September 1st through May 31st is a 5.00pm check in with a 5.30pm luau.
The summer schedule for this luau is from June 1st through August 31st. The check in is at 5.30pm with a 6.00pm luau. The time change allows for a better fire dance.

For parking we have found it is best to park in the covered garage. It's a lot less expensive than valet. We found that out the hard way.

Luau Tips
First time to Hawaii? Then enjoying a luau should be a must on your list of things to do. They're fun and since all the luaus are an evening event it will not interfere with any activities that are scheduled during the day. A luau is a good way to begin to understand and realize what the Hawaiian culture is all about. 'The Spirit of Aloha" that reins at all the luaus may just keep you coming back for more and more. Or as they say in Hawaiian, 'Hana Hou".
We have found that the most asked question is what luau is the best? We have found that the best luaus are on the West Side. South Maui luaus are conducted only a few times a week, which tells us they have not set a standard of excellence that, captures a daily schedule.
There are a few differences between the Hyatt Regency Luau and the Royal Lahaina. Just a few are the children's buffet and the multiple fire dancers give the Royal Lahaina a little added flare. Both are good and both will provide you with an evening of magic Hawaiian style.
The Wailea Marriott Luau is quite the gem for a luau for those staying on the south side who desire to stay closer to home, rather than drive to West Maui. This event lives up to the tradition you have come to expect from the Marriott.
