This tour will take you places where no other tour can. A wonderful experience of the rainforest of Maui created by Haleakala ATV Tours. This is a 3 hour guided tour and everyone over the age of 16 will drive their own ATV. All ATV'S are 4-wheel drive and have push button shifting. Easy to operate for the beginner as well as the season veteran. No experience is required. For the younger members of the family or for those who prefer to be driven, Haleakala ATV Tours has a Jeep Wrangler that has proven to be a hit with the children. The Rainforest Tour is conducted twice daily at 8.30am or 12.30pm. A continental breakfast is offered with the morning tour only. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required for this event as well as a long sleeve shirt. Haleakala ATV Tours at no extra charge provides rain gear. Please remember that the weather conditions change rapidly in the rainforest and you should bring a light jacket or sweater for this adventure. Because of the rough terrain, and the safety of your unborn child, expectant mothers should not consider this event and people who suffer from back problems. You must be 16 years old to drive the ATV's. This is a liability issue with the vendor. There is no exception to this rule. Any child between the age of 10 and 16 years old cannot ride the ATV. They must ride in the support vehicle. Any child under 10 and /or under 4' 9" in height is not allowed to ride in the support vehicle. This is due to the Hawaii State laws regarding seat belts and booster seats for every child in any vehicle under 10 years old and 4' 9" in height. There is no exception to this law. Haleakala ATV Tours is a challenge to schedule on short notice. They are the only real ATV outfit on Maui and popular. Allow 2 weeks advance notice for this event.
